About Heidi

There are many elements that prepare a real estate agent for success: market knowledge, education and training, and an overwhelming desire to help families find their dream homes. When my husband and I purchased our Burlingame home several years ago and ignited my passion in real estate, I realized that I had all three qualities.

I know the market. I have lived in the Bay Area for a quarter of a century, and have first hand knowledge of the local real estate market. I know the neighborhoods from an agent and resident perspective.

I had a world-class preparation for becoming an agent. I practiced real estate law, representing homeowners in construction defect cases, and worked as in-house counsel for high tech companies. Before becoming an attorney, I worked for a Bay Area real estate brokerage. These experiences are a strong background for negotiating the best deals for clients, analyzing inspection reports, and reviewing contracts. I went to college and graduate school in the Bay Area as well. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of California at Berkeley, and was on Law Review and graduated near the top of my class from Santa Clara University School of Law.

I have a genuine passion for residential real estate. Before becoming an agent, I visited open homes up and down the Peninsula, just for the fun of it. I enjoy working with clients to find their homes. Importantly, the job for me is not about just closing a deal and getting a commission. It is about helping people make life decisions that reflect their needs and values.

My commitment will always be to serve the needs of my clients. Unlike many agents, I have made the choice to only represent one party in a given transaction. There are few things in life more important, or more stressful, than buying a home. I never forget the importance of this process to my clients and work tirelessly for them.

You will also find, if you work with me, that I bring patience and an attention to detail so often missing in service industries driven by commissions. I return phone calls. I show up on time.

I am involved in the community as the VP of Fundraising for a local Hadassah chapter, as well as a regular volunteer at a neighborhood Elementary School.

An Aside
People often ask me how my parents chose the name "Heidi". It turns out that they loved the song, "Minnie the Moocher", with the famous scat line "Hei-di-hei-di-hei-di-ho". They probably didn't know I'd become a real estate agent, but another line in that song reads, "He gave her a home built of gold and steel". Is it only coincidence that I'm now working to help others find their dream homes?
